A medieval silver halfpenny of Henry VI (first reign, AD 1422-1461), dating to AD 1422-1427. Obverse with facing bust with annulets either side of neck. Reverse with long cross pattée, three pellets in each quadrant, annulets in two quarters. The flan has a slight fold on one quarter of the rim. Diameter 12.89mm, 0.2mm thick, weight - 0.3gm. Annulet Issue. Calais Mint. Withers & Withers (2003: 44) type A.2, North (1991: 75), no. 1435.

A complete and little worn halfpenny of Henry VI ( first reign AD 1422-1461) dating to the period AD 1427-1434. Mascle issue, however the coin has been struck slightly off flan so it has not been possible for the author to differentiate between the rosette-mascle or the pinecone-mascle series.

A struck silver half-peny of Henry VI (1422-1461), of the 'leaf-pellet' issue (1445-1454). The coin is clipped and worn, but enought remains to be able to class it as North 1512, Class B with initial cross varient V of the London mint. There are two pellets either side of the crown, although the leaf on the breast is not visible.
