A hammered silver half penny of Edward IV, (first reign - 1461 - 70 AD. The obverse has the portrait bust facing. The reverse has the long cross with three pellets to each quadrant and a sun initial mark in one quadrant, possibly dating the coin to 1465-6. The coin is from the London mint. The coin has an overall silver tarnish look with some clipping and a miss-shaped flan.
