Probably Withers Type 4 with crosses by the neck. The measurements are; diameter 12.7mm, thickness 0.4mm, and weight 0.4g. part of the edge of the coin is missing.

See Withers and Withers (2005) Halfpennies and Farthings: Edward III and Richard II, page 26. The shape of the shoulds suggests the identifiaction. The coin is 13.4mm long, 12.6mm wide, 3.2mm thick and weighs 0.46g. It is badly bent and the edge is incomplete. North number 1131 (1991) page 48.

A silver Medieval coin; a round half penny of Edward IV first reign (AD 1461 - 1470), Light Coinage (1464 - 1470), York mint (AD 1465 - 1471). Initial mark is a fleur and there is a trefoil on each side of the neck. It fits into Withers' Type 2a (page 29 of Halfpennies and Farthings, Edward IV - Henry VII, 2004) and Class VIII in North, number 1610 on page 89 of the second Volume (1991). The coin is 13.1mm diameter, 0.5mm thick and 0.39g.

A small section is missing from the flan between 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock on the obverse. The coin has a lombardic N with a forked right hand stroke, and angular Os.
