A badly damaged and very worn fragment of a medieval coin, probably a cut fraction (halfpenny or farthing) of long cross type dating c.AD1247-79 although not other details can be defined. The coin survives as a triangular fragment, one edge relatively straight - probably indicative that this is a cut fragment - the other uneven and more irregular, a likely break line.
