A large, thick, copper-alloy medieval jetton, probably dating from the reign of Edward III. It measures 33.27 mm in diameter and is 2.8 mm thick. It weighs 16.1 grams. The jetton is pierced, possibly for use as a spindle whorl or for the repair of an object. The perforation is large, at around 7.05 mm in diameter. This perforation obscures the central device, but it probably depicted the Roman emperor Postumus, the jetton being a type which imitates a sestertius of this emperor.
