CORONER'S REPORT A fragment of a silver snake-finger ring. Description of Find The fragment is a stylised snake head terminal with an incomplete neck that is broken just after it curves at 90 degrees to join the hoop. The snake head is fairly worn, broad, oval in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. The perimeter of the head is decorated with a series of moulded ribs and the eyes are represented by two oval mouldings. There is a shallow groove down the centre of the head. The stem is oval in cross section with a width of 1mm.
