A clipped, chipped and polished silver post medieval coin, uncertain ruler and mint, possibly a half penny of Elizabeth I (AD 1561-1582). Pelleted borders can be seen on both sides but no other details due to extreme polishing. The coin has a crease across the diameter, probably indicating it has been folded and unfolded.

A heavily worn and clipped Post Medieval silver penny of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603) dating to AD 1558-1603. Unclear initial mark. About a third of the coin is missing to a ragged break between 4 and 8 o'clock as seen on the reverse and the majority of detail has been worn smooth on the obverse.
