Probably an irregular 3rd-century copper-alloy Roman radiate of uncertain emperor, probably one of the Tetricii, female figure on reverse, possibly Pax (c. 275 - c. 285 AD; Reece period 14). The thickness of the flan and the fact that the reverse figure does not seem to fit it properly suggest that this is a contemporary copy (barbarous radiate).

A late Roman coin. The coin is a copper alloy barbarous radiate, modelled on a coin of Tetricus I or II (AD271-274). However, being a barbarous copy, it was probably minted soon after Tetricus' rule, between AD 275 and 285. It measures 15mm in diameter, and weighs 1.5g. Obverse: Radiate head right/ TETRICUS Reverse: ILLEGIBLE.
