IOVI CONSERVATORI reverse type depicting Jupiter standing left holding thunderbolt and vertical sceptre, small figure standing to left. Unclear mint, probably from a prototype of the mint of Rome. This type is unlisted for Caracalla but is known for Macrinus (AD 217-218) and later Emperors. It is likely that this coin is either a hybrid or more likely given its base appearance a contemporary copy combining an obverse of Caracal…
