Base silver radiate of Gallienus, joint reign with Valerian (AD 253-260), VIRTVS AVGG reverse type with two emperors, Second Eastern Mint, Issue II. Cunetio p. 109, no. 852; RIC V, pt 1, p. 104, no. 456. Although a significant number of Eastern mint coins from this reign were found in the Cunetio hoard, one might surmise that this piece came directly to Cornwall from the Mediterranean by sea.
