An incomplete copper alloy Roman radiate of Maximian I (AD 286-310), dating to the period c. AD 286 (Reece Period 14). Probably IOVI CONSERVAT [AVGG] reverse type depicting Jupiter, standing left, holding thunderbolt in right hand and sceptre in left hand. Mint of Rome. RIC V, pt 2, p. 278, cf. no. 506.
Diameter: 21.35 mm and weight: 1.36g.
A section of the flan is missing at the base of the bust on the obverse.
