Contemporary cast lead/tin forgery of an antoninianus of Tacitus. It has has incomplete flan, so part of the legend on the obverse and any mint mark on the reverse are lost. The coin has a diameter of c.21mm and weighs 4.82g. When new and in bright condition this coin would probably have easily passed as the plated, copper alloy antoniniaus it was copying. Mint of prototype: Siscia Date: 275-276 Ref: RIC cf. 156
