A base silver incomplete Radiate of Aemilian, AD253. AD253 (Reece period 12). Reverse legend reads M[ARTI PROP]VGT. Reverse shows Mars standing left leaning on shield and holding spear reversed. Mint is uncertain. See RIC IV, p195, no.6. Obverse shows Radiate (head or bust) right. Obverse legend reads [...]AEMILIANVS PIV[S F]EL AVG. Die axis is 6 o'clock, weight is 1.6g, diameter is 19mm.
