A Roman copper-alloy radiate of Carausius, dating to AD 286 - 293. (Reece Period 14). PAX AVG, reverse type shows Fides(?) standng left holding standard and cornucopiae. Unattributed Mint. This reverse type is known on a coin from the Little Orme's Head Hoard (Numismatic Chronicle 1956, no. 346). It is either a very early coin engraved by an inexperienced engraver or a contemporary copy. Diameter: 18.50 mm Weight: 2.58 g
