A very worn silver Roman denarius, probably of Antonine or Severan date, possibly Antoninus Pius (AD 138-161), dating to the period c.AD 138-211. Reverse type depicting a standing female figure left, right arm outstretched holding uncertain object (patera?), unclear object in left hand. Uncertain mint.

Reverse: []ER[], Uncertain figure (Victory?) left holding uncertain objects in each hand. Both faces have suffered from post-depositional damage that has resulted in large areas of each being removed or rendered illegible.
