Silver denarius of Julia Paula, dating to AD 219-20 (Reece Period 10). Obverse IVLIA PAVLA AVG, draped bust right; Reverse VENVS GENETRIX, Venus seated left, holding globe and sceptre. RIC IV, pt 2, p. 46, no. 222. Weight 2.11g, thick piercing at around 7 o'clock (obverse). Note that the obverse style is distinctly of Rome, even more so than the piece illustrated in BMC V, pl. 88, no. 15.
