Mint of Rome. RIC IV, pt 2, p. 11, cf. no. 80. Die axis 6 O'Clock. The style and patina of this coin are unusual, however examination at the British Museum suggests it is a regular issue of Macrinus rather than a contemporary copy.

It could be a silver coin mis-described.
