A silver denarius of Commodus (AD 175-192); minted at Rome, AD 185; 'Aequitas standing left, holding scales and cornucopia' reverse; RIC Vol. III, p. 379, no. 120. The coin is corroded and slightly worn. The surface pitting exhibits copper corrosion, but the coin does not appear to be a plated forgery. The coin has an irregular flan. It measures 16.3mm in diameter, 2.1mm thick and weighs 2.13g.
