An incomplete Roman silver denarius of Diva Faustina I dating from AD140 - 141 (Reece period 7). The reverse type AETERNITAS, depicting Aeternitas standing facing, head to the left, holding a globe in the right hand and the end of her veil, which blows out behind, in the left. Rome mint. Reference: RIC III, p. 70 no: 351. The coin measures 17.45mm diameter, 2.48mm thick and weighs 2.7 grams. A small hemispherical portion of the outer flan is missing.

Reverse type is AVGVSTA, depicting Ceres, veiled, standing left, holding corn-ears in right and torch in left. Mint of Rome. Cf. RIC III, p. 71, no. 360. The copper-alloy core of this coin is visible over nearly the entire obverse surface and approximately a third of the reverse; the copper-alloy is reddish brown in colour.
