A copper-alloy dupondius (probably) of 2nd century date. Although worn, the reverse image appears to be a PRINC IVVENT S C type, possibly that struck by Commodus under Marcus Aurelius, AD 172-176 (see RIC Vol. III, p. 334-5). The coin has an irregular flan and measures 27.6mm in diameter and 3.3mm thick. The weight is 13.03g.
