A copper-alloy dupondius (probably) of 2nd century date. Although worn, the reverse image appears to be a PRINC IVVENT S C type, possibly that struck by Commodus under Marcus Aurelius, AD 172-176 (see RIC Vol. III, p. 334-5). The coin has an irregular flan and measures 27.6mm in diameter and 3.3mm thick. The weight is 13.03g.

PRIMI DECENNALES, S C reverse type depicting the legend over four lines within a wreath. Mint of Rome. RIC Vol. II, p. 293, nos. 1004 or 1008. The coin has a dark green patina and is slightly worn and corroded. It measures 24.9mm in diameter, 3.7mm thick and weighs 11.44g.
