Roman coin: copper alloy limesfalsum (cast copy) of a dupondius of Caracalla (AD 198-217), dating to AD 214-217 (Reece Period 10), VENVS VICTRIX S C, Venus standing left, holding Victory and spear and leaning on shield set on helmet.  Prototype Mint: Rome.  RIC IV, pt 1, p. 308, cf. no. 575A. The light weight and soapy / waxy feel of the coin shows that it is a cast copy. Diameter 21.5mm, weight 3.9g. Although the prototype was struck in the period AD 214-217, the cast could have been made as late as c. AD 250.

Copper alloy Roman denarius of Caracalla dating to the period AD 201 (Reece Period 10). Cf RIC 4 (Caracalla), 55. Reverse depicts captives and trophy. The diameter is 19mm and the weight is 2.55g. Obverse inscription is ANTONINVS PIVS AVG and the reverse inscription is PART MAX PONT TR P IIII.

A complete Greek imperial bronze dupondius of Caracalla, minted in Philippopolis, Thrace between AD 198-217 (diameter: 30mm; thickness: 3mm; weight: 15.93g). The coin is in a worn but fair condition with most of the detail and inscription still visible.
