A worn and incomplete copper alloy dupondius, possibly of Elagabalus and therefore dating to the period AD 218-222. The coin is very worn with no inscriptions visible; the reverse depicts a standing figure with outstrecthed arm, possibly Sol. It is not possible to confirm this identification as the coin is so poorly preserved; it should be noted that base metal coins of Elagabalus are rarely found in Britain (Sam Moorhead, Nov. 2020).
