1695-1701. Silver alloy, minted, probable William III shilling, counter marked by a local trader or shop keeper for use as a private trading token or for advertising purposes. Length 25.7mm, Width 25.6mm, Thickness 0.9mm, Diameter 25.7mm, Weight 3.4g. This coin exhibits extreme wear with very few details visible but then overstamped with an initial 'S'. Ref.
