Measures 22-25mm, weighs 7.92g, die axis 12, very worn, corroded and damaged, has been pinched in a vice.

A copper-alloy contemporary copy of an as, known as a limesfalsum, of Otacilia Severa dating to the period AD 244 to 249 (Reece period 12). CONCORDIA AVGG S C reverse type depicting Concordia seated left holding patera and cornucopiae. Prototype Mint of Rome. cf. RIC IV, p. 94, no. 203b.
It should be noted that this is a very late example of a limesfalsum, the latest known to the National Finds Adviser. There is a similar piece to this on the PAS Database - NARC-53510E - which appears to be cast from the same mould. FAPJW-E94515 might be another example, but there is no image to …
