CONCORDIA AVGG reverse type depicting Concordia seated left holding patera and cornucopiae. As Mint of Rome. cf. RIC IV, p. 94, no. 203d. The bust on the obverse is facing right. However, official asses of this issue have busts facing left. It measures 22.6mm in diameter and weighs 5.25g. Die axis 12.

A complete copper alloy Roman coin. Obverse draped bust right IMP .... OTACILIA SEV[ERA] . Reverse CONCORDIA AVGG [S C], Concordia seated left. 244 - 249 AD. RIC IV, pt 3, p. 94, c.f. 203d. This coin is not recorded as an 'as' in RIC, but as a sestertius (RIC 203a-b/204) and a dupondius (RIC 203c). There is an as, but with bust left (RIC 203d). This coin is very thin, and is suspected to be a copy. If it is a copy it would most likely be a 'Limesfalsum' (Frontier Copy) from the Rhine Frontier. See record LANCUM-748A72
