Fragment, probably of a copper alloy as of Maximinus I dated to AD 235-238 (period 11) [IM.]P MAXIMIN[VS PIVS AVG], laureate, draped, cuirassed bust right / [FIDES] MIL[ITVM] Fides standing facing, head left, holding two standards. Mint of Rome. RIC IV, pt 2, p. 144, cf. no. 45. It is possible that this is a fragment of a copper-alloy contemporary copy of a denarius.
