A copper-alloy Roman as of Marcus Aurelius as Caesar (AD 139-161), dating to the period AD 154-155 (Reece period 7). [TR POT] VI[III]-COS [II], S C reverse type depicting Mars waking right holding spear and trophy. Mint of Rome. As RIC III, p.184, no. 1322. This is a Coin of British Association as listed by D. Walker in his report on the Sacred Springs at Bath (Walker, 1988: pp. 295, 299, nos. 382-435, pl. XXXVIII).
