A complete cast copper-alloy hanging bowl escutcheon of early medieval date (c.500-650) Description: The mount is circular in plan a flat in cross section with the exception of a slightly raised rim on the upper surface and a raised area of corrosion on this side, possibly the means of attachment. No decoration is discernable on the upper surface or underside. The object has a light brown patina Measurements: diameter: 28.3mm; thickness: 6.3mm; weight: 13.34g
