An incomplete silver possible groat of Henry VIII, possibly dating to the period AD 1526-1529. It is probably second coinage. Obverse depicting a crowned bust facing right (but only the crown is discernible on what is a very worn coin). Reverse depicting a long cross fourchee over royal shield. North 1797.
The outer edge of the coin, where the legend would have been, appears to have been neatly clipped. This makes accurate identification difficult.
