An incomplete silver Post Medieval groat probably of Henry VIII (AD 1509-1547). The obverse is badly worn and the edges are uneven and ragged. The only inscription remaining on the obverse reads [REX] and on the reverse [SVI] and the shield is visible in the centre. It measures 22.6 mm in length, 18.9 mm wide, 0.9 mm thick and weighs 0.94 g.
