A copper-alloy ring with a George I-III copper alloy halfpenny embedded inside, dating to the Post Medieval period c. AD 1714-1800.
The object consists of a copper circular band, which has a width of 5.9mm. Embedded between the band is a copper coin. The coin has been bent to fit within the band, the legend is visible on the inside edges of the band and the bust present at the centre. The laureate bust is facing right.
