Dimension: diameter 21.1mm, thickness 1.2mm, weight 2.64g. The copper alloy shows through the patina in places.

The year is illegible The reverse depicts a crown over a shield-like border surrounding waves in lower portion with upper portion indistict - but very probably a rampant lion emerging out of water. The legend is illegible. Diameter 21.39, thickness: 0.74. Weight 1.7g

Late post-medieval Dutch copper-alloy duit from Zealand, dating from AD1764. The obverse shows the crowned arms of Zealand and the inscription reads: LUCTOR ET EMERGO (I struggle and I emerge/arise). The reverse inscription reads ZEELANDIA 1764. The mintmark is castle between two stars (very worn, above ZEELANDIA (in three lines)).
