Cast copper alloy square coin weight of unknown ruler but probably dating to the post medieval period. This square coin weight has been badly abraded and the detail is indistinct on both faces. It is most likely to be a weight of James I (as I think one face has a thistle on it). The coin weight measures 11.2mm x 11.2mm x 5.3mm and weighs 3.64 grams (56.6 grains or 0.13 ozs).
