Silver medal of Charles 1st. The obverse of this medal carries a left-facing portrait of Charles I, with a decorative surround that is pierced above and below for attachment to clothing. Post Medieval lead alloy token, 18mm in diameter and 5mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a grey patina and weighs 17.22grams. The object is circular in form and rectangular in section. It has a raised lip and is divided into quarters by two raised lines crossing its surface. Where these meet is a raised circular knop. Two of the quarters have slightly higher circular knops placed centrally. The other two contain a letter each, one has a capital I with crossed bar and the other a capital K with a small raised dot.
