A badly worn and damaged struck/ hammered silver coin (denomination uncertain), possibly of Mary I (diameter: 22.9mm; thickness: 0.4mm; weight: 1.08g). Little detail is still visible. There is a possible 'M' on the obverse (with all other inscription destroyed) and the shield on the reverse divided by the long cross is very faint. There are small worn holes which have continued straight through the coin. At best, it is certain from the design that this coin is of Tudor/ Staurt date.
