An incomplete silver sixpence of uncertain Post Medieval ruler, probably dating between AD 1550 to AD 1650. The coin is heavily worn and has been stamped with an ermine type symbol. The coin may have functioned as a love token. It has a diameter of 20.0 mm, and is 1.1 mm thick. It weighs 1.5 g.

A silver post-medieval coin, probably a groat. The coin is very worn and damaged, making identification of the ruler difficult, although part of the legend REX on the obverse indicates that the ruler was male. The coin is probably 16th century in date.
