A copper alloy medallion dating to the 18th century. The medallion celebrates Admiral Vernons victories over the Spanish colonies in South America during the 'War of Jenkins' Ear. He took Portobello with 6 ships on 22/11/1739. There were loads of different medals issued to commemorate it - your one shows Admiral Vernon on one side standing between a cannon and a ship; on the other side there are six ships entering a harbour. A modern religious medallion made from copper alloy. It has the words 'watch and pray' around the edge and depicts a cross and lion. The letters IC are shown to the left of the cross and the letters CP to the right of the cross. The ICSP was inaugurated in 1909 and stands for the ‘Incorporated Church Scout Patrols’ which was a part of the scouting movement. A Modern cast bronze Medallion of the German archaeologist Gerhard Bersu. On the obverse is Head of Bersu facing left, with the engravers initials 'EØ 54'. On the reverse is the inscription GERHARD/ BERSU/ ZUM 65 GEBURSTAG/ VON SEINEN/ FREUDEN. The medal was presented to Gerhard Bersu, the eminent German archaeologist, on his 65 birthday. A partially complete postmedieval or modern copper alloy medallion/pendant featuring Christian iconography. The obverse features a nativity scene; the Virgin Mary with child and onlooking mage. The reverse features a single left-facing figure; a soldier with a standard. It measures 28.1mm in diameter, is 1.2mm thick, and weighs 2.6g. It has an even, dark brown surface colour, and the detail is well preserved in high relief.

A cast copper alloy (brass) medallion featuring Christian iconography. It consists of an oval decorated field, suspended by subtriangular loop, now broken, presumably for attachment to a chain or similar. The oval field is decorated on both faces, and features a single marginal line around the designs. Post Medieval copper alloy medallion or token, 36mm in diameter and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 12.62 grams. The object has incised decoration on each side and has traces of gilding. One side shows an eagle type bird with pointed beak and outstretched wings whilst the other side has what appears to be a Tudor rose style flower motif with a central circle flanked by stylised petals.

Brass medallion struck to commemorate the defeat of the Scottish Highland forces of Prince Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie) in 1746.
