Half of a cast lead circular token. The token has a raised design of the initials [...].D one side and a central pellet with an X to one side on the other; both sides have a raised line border at the edge. It is 24.3mm in diameter, 14.1mm wide, 2.8mm thick and weighs 4.00 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to be Post Medieval in date (1500-1850). Post Medieval lead token or possibly seal fragment. Lead alloy disk with a raised, cast or stamped, design of the initials IR or HR (ligated) within a line circle on one side. It is 14.9mm in diameter, 1.3mm thick and 1.70 grams in weight. The object is unusually small for a lead token and may be a broken part of a seal. The use of initials would suggest a Post Medieval date (1500-1850 AD) for either.

These weights were replaced by round ones with similar designs post-1632 (Withers and Withers 1995:38). 16.7mm square, 3.2mm thick and 5.75 grams (88.6 grains).

A copper alloy token of W Diplock, Fletching, East Sussex. The brass token was issued by Fletching pub, which was part of the Sheffield Park Estate. 'The Griffin' grew its own hops and the tokens were probably accepted in the pub as well as the farm.

A flat and square copper alloy coin weight. Much of the detail is still clear. On the obverse there is a crown with the letter C surmounted by a crown to the left of it. Underneath, the numerals XXII, and below these the letter S. The reverse is very worn but you can make out what might have been a bust of the King. These markings indicate that this weight dates from the reign of James I (AD 1612-19). It was used to weigh Unites of James’ revalued 2nd coinage. The surface of the weight is pitted and is a dark brownish-green colour.

A cast copper alloy double looped rectangular buckle frame. The pin is missing. The frame has thickened inner edges. The strap bar is narrowed and slightly offset. The metal surface is worn with a light greyish green patina. A similar lead alloy example is illustrated in Egan 2005, p38 ref 121. The buckle is post medieval in date.

A cast lead token. The token is flat and almost circular.
The obverse of the token is illegible, apart from the letters VIC[----] which have been stamped backwards around the edge of the token.
The reverse is blank, but there is a depression on the surface of the token.
The lead has gone a dark brownish-grey colour.
Judging by the lettering style this token probably dates from between circa 1700 – 1900 AD.
