Copper alloy apothecaries weight for 2 scruples. Square and flat, stamped on both sides with the traditional symbol for 2 scruples (like a backwards capital E joined to a y with two dots above it). It measure 11.4mm long, 11.6mm wide and is 2.6mm thick. It weighs 2.3grams. This type of weight was in use from 1618 AD to the 19th century.
