Gold Ecu d'or au soleil de Bretagne of Francis I of France (1515-1547). Kelleher (forthcoming) notes that there have only been five Francis I gold coins recorded as finds in England to date, all from hoards (one from Bearpark, County Durham, four from Ely, Cambridgeshire). This coin represents the first recorded "stray" find of a Francis I gold coin in England.

Post Medieval (1650-1850) cast lead alloy decorative disk (possible token). It is circular in plan, measuring 31.96mm in diameter, 3.31mm thick and weighs 13.96 grams. The upper surface has a cast image of a left facing bird, with a crescent shaped body, a small semi-circular head and triangular beak. There are two triangles representing the legs. There is a sub-triangular wing extending upwards from the body. The reverse is plain and undecorated.

Copper alloy trade token of Robert Saul of Lavenham, Suffolk showing a rampant lion. The Red Lion Inn was in the market place of Lavenham in 1645 and is still there, the accession of King James the VI of Scotland to the English throne in 1603 introduced the red lion sign as a frequent occurrance.

GD. G. FRA. ET. NAV: REX The reverse shows the crowned shield of France, with three lis. The legend reads CORNELI.LAVFFERS.RECHEN.PFENING. The jetton has a diameter of 28.48mm and weighs 3.42g. It is a variant of Mitchener 1773.
