A cast lead token. Part of the token has broken off resulting in the loss of one third. The front surface has a shield and long cross scrathed into it, similar to the coins of Elizabeth I. It could date anywhere between 1500-1800 when these token were widely used.

An incomplete post-medieval, cast copper alloy oval medallion, probably dating from the 17th or early 18th century. The medallion has a large, crowned coat of arms with a lion supporter on the left and a unicorn supporter on the right. A cast lead token, flat and circular in shape, with slightly chamfered edges.
The front surface is decorated with a raised ring and dot in the centre. The reverse is undecorated.
The metal is a mid greyish-brown colour.
These tokens were mass-produced and were so easy to make that they were used through-out the medieval to post-medieval period. This example is likely to date from 1500-1850.

Five silver coins found during World War II. The coins are all thalers of the 17th century and were produced in the Holy Roman Empire. As such, they will be made of good silver, certainly over 90% fine. They all have similar loops attached to them, to suggest that they had formed all or part of a piece of decorative jewellery.
