A copper alloy token, probably from the Post-medieval date. One side of the token depicts two eagles, with their heads facing away from each other. The eagles are enclosed within a beaded circle, which runs around the edges of the token. The other side of the token is decorated but the design is undecipherable. The token is flat and circular. It is badly corroded and much of the original surface has been lost.

A cast lead token. The token is flat and circular. The obverse of the token depicts the capital letters WD. This face of the token has a raised rim around the edge. The reverse is blank. The token is in a good condition and the edges of the token are not damaged. The lead has gone a light greyish-white colour. The token is 20.36mm in diameter and 2.02mm thick. Weight: 5.2g.

A flat and square copper alloy coin weight. Much of the detail has been removed though wear and corrosion. The reverse of the weight appears to have the letters II // S (on two lines) and depicts a crowned capital letter I. These markings indicate that this weight dates from the reign of James I (AD 1612-19). It was used to weigh Unites of James’ revalued 2nd coinage. The surface of the weight is pitted and is a dark brownish-green colour.

A cast copper-alloy token. These types of tokens are very difficult to date because there are so many different types, some of which (like this one) have no real identifying features. This token is almost square 14.27mm x 12.81mm. It measures 4.13mm in thickness. The obverse of the token is chamfered on one of the shorter sides. Each corner of the token has been decorated with a circular punched indentation. The reverse of the token is flat and also has the four punched indentations (one in each corner). A round coin weight from circa 1632-1649, for a 10 shilling angel, made of brass. Round coin weights were introduced by Charles I as the new official coin weight, after he banned square weights. These types of coin weight were produced in large quantities. The obverse depicts a crown, under the crown are the letters X and S on two lines. The X is flanked by a dot on either side, the S in flanked by one dot to the left. Post medieval cast lead alloy uniface token. The token is circular and flat; on the front are raised initials, probably HP ligated. The back is plain. There is a hole near one edge and dent in one edge; both are probably casting flaws. It is 21.1mm in diameter and 1.3mm thick, it weighs 3.36 grams. Cast lead tokens had a wide range of uses and were often produced locally. They are thus hard to date accurately but those with intials are generally Post Medieval (1500-1800 AD).
