An extremely worn Post-Medieval coin of an uncertain English monarch. The obverse and obverse legend are illegible. The reverse shows an unclear long-cross fourchee over a Tudor royal shield (lower left quadrant is the clearest part of the shield showing three lions passant guardant). The coin has a date range from Henry VII, AD 1485-1509, profile issue through to Elizabeth I, AD 1558-1603. This flan has been slightly bent.

Silver coin. The flan of a hammered coin worn entirely smooth on both sides. Paired parallel lines might hint at this having been folded as a keepsake and subsequently flattened, the former being an oft-reported adaptation of the sixpence of William III (1693-1702).
