Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular double faced token (1500-1850 AD). On one side is a raised K within a circle of pellets; the reverse has the raised initial I with scattered pellets. The edge has multiple indents but it is not clear if this is from casting flaws or later damage. The token measures 21.5mm in diameter, 1.4mm thick and weighs 3.77grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to be Post Medieval in date (1500-1850 AD).

A bifacial lead token. This token is unusual as it is similar to boy bishop tokens of the 15th century - the obverse has a design of four annulets around a central pellet bounded by a solid circle - between this circle and another outer circle is an inscription which is too worn to decipher. The reverse has the initials WL beneath a solid horizontal line - the design above this line is again illegible. The syle of the reverse suggests a 17th century date for this token and not 15th.

Post Medieval or modern cast lead alloy circular bi-faced token (1500-1900 AD). On one side is the raised initials I A, on the reverse is an initial P above 12. The token measures 23.19mm in diameter, 2.8mm thick and weighs 4.8 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with numerial values in multipes of 6 (6, 12 and 24) are known to have been used on hop farms to keep track of quantities picked and were cashed for payment at the end of the job.

A copper-alloy coin weight for rose noble, or ryal. The piece was made in Antwerp, by Bernaert Foncq., and was produced before 1658 (see Withers and Withers 1995: 20 and 60). The weight is sub-square in plan. The obverse bears a circular design depicting a galley, with the letters 'H' (for 'Henricus') to the left, and 'R' (for 'Ryal') in the top right hand corner. A copper alloy illegible coin which has been pierced. The very circular shape suggests a post-medieval date, though the dating remains uncertain as no trace of images or legends remains owing to corrosion. Since it was found at a newly discovered Anglo-Saxon cemetery site, an Early Medieval date cannot be ruled out. It has a dark green patina. It is 20mm in diameter and 1.1mm thick. It weighs 1.92gm.

A lead alloy token of Elizabeth I (1558-1603), struck c. 1574 (North 1991: 140, ref: 2063). North comments: ‘There exist a number of lead or pewter pieces which have in the past been described as patterns or tokens. It is more probable however that they were political medalets or counters, as some would appear to relate to Mary, Queen of Scots, and the workmanship on most is rather crude. They are normally found in London, and were struck about 1574 (North 1991: 140).

A lead alloy miscast token, probably Post Medieval (1500-1700 AD). The two halves of the mould failed to unite creating this token which has its two halves overlapping. Both sides have the initials WR in retrograde contained within an upper and lower border of vertical lines, all in high relief.
