Post Medieval cast bi-faced lead token. The token has a double headed spread eagle on one side and a crowned rose with the legend BEATI REGINA on the other. These token were produced centrally on a large scale in the latter half of the 16th century (c.1560-1590). Measures 20.9mm in diameter and 1.1mm thick; weighs 3.41 gms

Cast double faced lead token with a two headed eagle on one side and a tudor rose on the other. This was a widely used late Elizabethen type that circulated as unofficial currency. Some have the inscription 'GOD SAVE THE QUEEN' on the reverse by that is not visible here.
The token has broken in half and is 20.7mm in diameter, 13.5mm wide and 1.1mm thick, it weighs 1.87 grams.
