Post medieval copper alloy coin weight, 21mm long, 22mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 11.6 grams. It is rectangular in form and section and decorated on both sides. The obverse contains the numerals XXXIII and the reverse contains the Royal shield in a circular, rose decorated, border. The weight dates from 1612 to 1632 and is a weight for a rose ryal.

A complete cast copper alloy double-faced coin weight for a quarter laurel of James I, Third Coinage (1619-1625). Obverse: crowned ‘V’ with a small ‘s’ at the right side within a beaded circle (the mark of value = 5 shillings). Countermarked with a letter ‘I’ to the right of the crown. Reverse: laureate bust left within a beaded circle. The edges are bevelled and two opposite edges have been filed. The weight is of uneven thickness. Copper alloy jeton, probably German. O. Figure of a man standing behind a table on which is a cloth set out in columns on which are jettons. The man is wearing a flat cap and garment wit the puffed sleeves characteristic of the sixteenth. To each side of him is a band of gadrooned decoration the junctions of the loops being marked with lis. R. This shows what is likely to be a depiction of a horn book bearing the alphabet in Roman letters, I and J being a single symbol.

A complete cast copper alloy coin weight of Post-Medieval date (c. AD 1760-1773). Diameter: 23.2mm and 4.1mm thick. Weight: 13.67g. This double-sided coin weight has a similar design on both sides: S/36, representing 36 shillings. Around 1760 to 1773 many British maker’s made sets of weights to weigh the Portuguese moidore and ‘joe’ series of gold coins; the guinea, half and quarter guinea. These sets consisted of up to eleven weights (Withers and Withers 1995, 52-53).

A Modern cast bronze Medallion of the German archaeologist Gerhard Bersu. On the obverse is Head of Bersu facing left, with the engravers initials 'EØ 54'.
