A circular lead token dating from the post Tudor period, 1600-1800 AD. One side has the letters E P with 5 pellets in relief, the other is blank apart from a faintly incised cross. The token has a diameter of 22.16mm, thickness 2.73mm, weight 9.32g. For reference see Fletcher 2005. Leaden Tokens and Tallies. Roman to Victorian p. 54/55. Tokens like this were probably used as small change because the crown did not produce enough coins. The initial probably refer to the tradesman who issued the token.

The very circular shape suggests a post-medieval date, though the dating remains uncertain as no trace of images or legends remains owing to corrosion. Since it was found at a newly discovered Anglo-Saxon cemetery site, an Early Medieval date cannot be ruled out. It has a dark green patina. It is 20mm in diameter and 1.1mm thick. It weighs 1.92gm.

A lead alloy token which is approximately 2.5cm in diameter. The token is a lead disc with a design on both sides. This find was recorded from a photograph kindly provided by the finder. The design are not very clear but appear to be a bird on one face and letters on the other, maybe ligated AD over an M. The token has been examined by David Powell who suggests that the designs include merchant’s marks and that they, combined with the size suggest a seventeenth century date.

A lead alloy Modern seal dating from about AD 1900 - 1950. The seal is a disc which has a diameter of 13.9mm and is 2.7m thick. It has the same design on both sides which appears to be two squirrels facing each other. This object was originally recorded as a token. There is some damage to one edge of the object which makes the design difficult to see clearly. The object has a yellowish patina and the damage does not seem to be recent. A copper alloy coin which is probably Indian. It has not been possible to positively identify this coin, but it is likely to be between 100 and 300 years old, brought back as a souvenir of the Raj. The coin is very worn. It has a diameter of 22.4mm and is 5.6mm thick. It weighs 16.6g.
