Copper alloy counterstamped coin. The coin is highly corroded and no part of the original design is visible. It is counterstamped VIII with a small H or M above and the second and third II appear to be interupted by a circular counterstamp. It is probably a 8 maravedis of Felipe III (1598-1621) of Spain, but countermarked later under Felipe IV's reign (1621-1665) as an 8 maravedis 'resellado' which means 'resealed' or 'restruck'. Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular double faced token (1500-1850 AD). On one side are the raised initials M A, with a pellet in between and three small vertical lines underneath. The other side has the raised initials TC with a pellet in between. The token measures 24.9mm in diameter, 2.4mm thick and weighs 9.58grams. Post medieval cast copper alloy square weight from a German Goldgulden, a denomination in use from 1340-1806 AD. The weight was made by a known but as yet unnamed Antwerp maker in the 16th-17th century. It has an imperial orb on one side and the Hand of Antwerp with the makers initials on the other. It is 14.9 by 15.3mm and 1.8mm thick, it weighs 2.55 grams; as is typical with coin weights this is less than the full weight of this coin, 3.5g and 3.25g from 1559, due to corrosion and a tendancy to tariff weights to the lowest legal weight of the coin.

Some have the inscription 'GOD SAVE THE QUEEN' on the reverse by that is not visible here. The token has broken in half and is 20.7mm in diameter, 13.5mm wide and 1.1mm thick, it weighs 1.87 grams.
