An extremely worn Post-Medieval coin of an uncertain English monarch. The obverse and obverse legend are illegible. The reverse shows an unclear long-cross fourchee over a Tudor royal shield (lower left quadrant is the clearest part of the shield showing three lions passant guardant). The reverse legend is almost completely illegible. The flan size suggests that this is probably a halfgroat. The coin has a date range from Henry VII, AD 1485-1509, profile issue through to Elizabeth I, AD 1558-1603. This flan has been slightly bent.

A Post-Medieval copper alloy coin from India, probably the denomination called a paisa, probably dating to AD 1790-1830. A close parallel seems to be SWYOR-B55B81, "a Paisa of Gwalior State, Gwalior Fort mint, struck in the name of the Mughal Emperor Muhammad Akbar II, during the reign of Maharaja Daulat Rao Scindia (1796-1825)". It is common to find Indian coins in Britain, probably because they were brought here by people serving in the colonial Empire in India.

Silver coin. A possibly milled and very worn coin, with marks suggesting it has formerly been folded as a keepsake. The mass - with due allowance for heavy wear - does not make it seem likely this was a sixpence, the most commonly folded coin, but perhaps a smaller denomination.
